About Us - The Meeting Spot

The Meeting Spot is a 501(c)7 membership organization that is governed by a Board of Directors. Its purpose is to provide space for community and civic-minded groups of individuals who are too small or meet too infrequently to support their own space. It is supported by membership for those who meet regularly and by donations for those who may use the space only once or infrequently. This space is managed in compliance with the City of Mesquite ordinances and rules imposed by the owner of the plaza.

The Meeting Spot is 640 square feet and includes a restroom. It has high-speed internet. a TV monitor, and a refrigerator. We provide tables and chairs to accommodate up to 30 people. There is an area where food and drinks can be set up with crock pots, warming trays, and coffee pots. No other cooking appliances are permitted.

No smoking or vaping of any substance is allowed and no alcohol can be sold.

We offer this space without restrictions to all faiths, nationalities, genders, races or political affiliation.
